Musical Background: Studies voice under Ralph Zecchino. Sings in the Greece Choral Society and in the Church Worship Team. Jeanie is the lead vocalist in the New City Band, and has sung for various weddings, parties and banquets.

Why the Greece Jazz Band? Jeanie found out about the band through GPAS, and joined because she loves to sing jazz, and for the opportunity to perform with her husband and son. Jeanie feels fortunate to have the opportunity to sing with the band, and has lots of fun with the great bunch of musicians backing her on the songs that she sings.

Interesting Facts/Stories: Both Phillip and Jeanie come from very musical families. Both of their parents were and are musicians and music teachers. Both their mothers were piano teachers. Jeanie one met Elton John in person and shook his hand. Jeanie remembers one playing "It Don't Mean a Thing if It Ain's Got That Swing so fast that she could barely spit out the words! She also remembers going to TGI Fridays and everyone corrupting Tyler, plus the Christmas party when Tyler cleaned everyone's butts at poker.
