What do you do for a living?: Special Ed. Dept. Leader and Teacher at Webster Schroeder HS
Musical Background: Eastridge HS Wind Ensemble and Stage Band under Al Castle, Bowling Green Marching Band, Brass Quintet, Symphonic Band, All Female Jazz Ensemble SUNY Brockport Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble. Member of the Penfield Summer Jazz Band under Jim Doser from 1988 - 2000, Member of the Greater Roch. Jazz Orchestra, 1999-2001. Present member (and one of two original members) of the Irondequoit Concert Band

How did you first find out about the Greece Jazz Band?: From Jim Battaglia
Why did you join the Greece Jazz Band?: I enjoy playing big band music and this is something my husband, Ed, and I can do together.
What keeps you coming back every week?: The challenging music, the musical camaraderie
What do you like best about being a part of this band?: I enjoy setting goals for myself, and mastering the Don Menza charts is a challenge I enjoy. Also, as I stated earlier, I like the fact that Ed and I are doing something together that both of us love.
Tell some interesting facts/stories about yourself: I have taught Special Ed. at Webster HS for 27 years. I enjoy traveling and have been to Europe four times, including my senior year in high school when the Eastridge Stage Jazz band went on a five country tour of Western Europe, performing in all five countries. I have been a dedicated runner since 1979 (running strictly for the health benefits).
What music do you like best?: I enjoy jazz (especially big band), classical, oldies
Favorite Musicians: Arturo Sandoval, Neil Diamond, Doc Severinsen
Musically, I wish I could play like: a combination of Arturo and Serverinsen
