Musical Background: Playing Trumpet, Trombone and Piano for over 20 years. Played in Jr. High and High School Jazz Bands - 1st chair trombone. Played in the Long Island Youth Orchestra. 22 NYSSMA medals on 6 different instruments. Played trombone in and directed the Cornell University Jazz Ensemble. Played trombone and trumpet in the Greece Concert Band and Greece Community Orchestra. Founded the Greece Jazz Band. President of GPAS for 3 years.

Why the Greece Jazz Band?: There was a need for a community-based jazz big band. Founded the group while President of GPAS. Chuck feels that the band is comprised of excellent musicians that are fun to play and be with. Knowing that he is doing something good for the musicians and the community is what brings him back week after week.
Interesting Facts/Stories: Played in the Long Island Youth Orchestra and toured China and the Far East at age 15. There are way too many humorous stories about band members to list here!
