What do you do for a living?: Medtech for a traveling medical agency
Musical Background: The usual school bands, Southern Tier Big Band, RIT band, 78 RPM Band, Buddy Detar Band, American Winds International Big Band, Tom McClure Geneva Big Band, and then my own big band - Roll of the Dice Big-Band
How did you first find out about the Greece Jazz Band?: Met Jim Battaglia at a record store and he mentioned that they were looking for a sax player. I gave him my number and my friend Jim Gresko's and joined.
Why did you join the Greece Jazz Band?: Most of the music is challenging, and the people are nice to play with.
What keeps you coming back every week?: I love to play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tell some interesting facts/stories about yourself: I suck at golf and bowling but love to do both.
What music do you like best?: Big band. mostly the 60's-80's jazz-rock era
Favorite Musicians: Zappa, Bach, Beethoven, Maynard Ferguson, Ellington, Basie, the list goes on.
Musically, I wish I could play like: Jim G., Tony, and Tyler in the Greece Jazz Band!!
