Musical Background: Played trumpet and drums since the 4th grade. Drumset was his main instrument for 30 years. He recently picked up the trumpet again and loves playing it.

Why the Greece Jazz Band?: Bernie was a member of the Greece Concert Band when the Greece Jazz Band formed. He joined because he loves jazz and big band music. He comes back every week to throw darts at the Director, and he's going to keep trying until he finally hits him! The band gives him personal growth as a trumpet player. Bernie loves the fun of playing good music, and the fellowship of a great group of people. He appreciates the large family involvement in the band. There are four father/child members, and it's a great way to share music with your kids.
